Kate Moore

Kate Moore is an accomplished legal professional specializing in water resources, environmental, and agricultural law. Currently serving as Senior Water Attorney at The Freshwater Trust since May 2022, Kate previously held the position of Partner and Of Counsel at Dunn Carney LLP from June 2008 to May 2022. Earlier experience includes representing clients at the Law Office of Peter Mohr in water resource and renewable energy matters, and litigation for plaintiffs in toxic tort cases at the Law Office of Donald W. Stewart. Kate began her legal career as a Law Clerk at Mentor Law Group, focusing on instream water rights in the Columbia River basin. Academic credentials include a JD in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis & Clark Law School and a BA in Environmental Studies and Spanish from Middlebury College.
