Matthew O. Brimer has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Matthew O. began their career in 2007 as the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of PickTeams/GoCrossCampus, where they were responsible for marketing strategy, user acquisition, community management, and business development. In 2013, they co-founded DAYBREAKER, a global community and lifestyle brand, and in 2010 they co-founded General Assembly, a pioneer in education and career transformation. In 2015, they became an Advisor for Common and an Executive Chairman for ZZ Driggs. In 2017, they became an Advisor for Lightmatter and Co-Founder and Partner of The Fund. In 2018, they joined the Board of Directors for Pioneer Works Art Foundation and assumed the role of Chair and Executive Producer for the Yale University Class of 2009 Ten Year Reunion.
Matthew O. Brimer attended Yale University from 2005 to 2009, graduating with a B.A. in Sociology. In 2006, they also attended the University of Konstanz for German Language studies.
