Lindsay Mackinlay

Lindsay Mackinlay is a seasoned ecological professional with extensive experience in biodiversity management and conservation. Currently serving as UK Biodiversity Manager at The Future Forest Company since April 2022, Lindsay previously held the role of Head of Ecology at the same organization from October 2021 to June 2022. Prior to this, as Principal Ecologist at Parnassus Ecology from March 2017 to December 2021, Lindsay established a successful ecological consultancy. Lindsay's background includes significant positions such as Nature Conservation Adviser at the National Trust for Scotland and Area Officer at Scottish Natural Heritage. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Impact Assessment from Aberystwyth University and a Bachelor of Science in Ecological Sciences from The University of Edinburgh.
