Machael Baksteen

Machael Baksteen has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Sales Consultant and General Employee at GOSH Sports & Health Club, where they were responsible for selling memberships and managing relationships with clients. In 2010, they joined Sogeti as an Agile Test Expert, working on various test assignments for clients such as KPN and KLM. In 2012, they transitioned to KLM as a Test & Quality Engineer, contributing to four projects in the passenger self-service domain. In 2016, they became a Senior Test Specialist at KLM and subsequently joined KLM Royal Dutch Airlines as an Agile Test Expert. Machael also worked as a Freelance Test Consultant at SITA and Unisys, and as a Freelance Test Coordinator/Test Automater at Nederlandse Loterij. Currently, they are working as a Scrum Master at Nationale Hypotheek Garantie and as a Freelance Scrum Master at The Future Group. Throughout their career, Machael has acquired expertise in agile testing, test management, and test automation.

Machael Baksteen completed their education in a chronological order, starting from 2001 to 2005, they attended Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam where they obtained a MBO degree in IT Multi Media. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2008, they pursued their studies at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, specializing in Communicatie & Multimedia Design and earned a HBO degree. Moreover, they also obtained additional certifications including Certified Agile Tester from iSQI GmbH in June 2016 and Tmap next from EXIN in September 2010.
