Vice President Of Program at The Future Project

Christian Shaboo has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2006 with Performing Arts Programs, Inc. as a Teaching Artist. In 2007, they became a founding member of the New Haven Theater Company, where they served as a key contributor to the four stage productions annually and developed new plays as a writer, director and actor. In 2009, they took on the role of Communications Manager for RYASAP, where they worked on the Mine. Yours. Ours initiative. In 2011, they became a Teaching Artist with Opening Act New York, leading after-school performing arts and self-expression programs across NYC. In 2012, they joined The Future Project as Vice President of Program, where they led the transition to online programming to support 3k+ students and young leaders globally. Christian also oversaw partnerships with 5 school districts across the country. In 2013, they founded Grinand Bare, where they collaborated with The Obama Foundation and New Haven Public Schools, and launched the Men Up social justice initiative. In 2006, they also took on the role of Project Manager with Carrot Creative, where they managed day-to-day client relations for a portfolio of ~10 clients.

Christian Shaboo graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
