Dr. Gemar Mills

Chief Education Officer at The Future Project

Dr. Gemar Mills has held a variety of roles in the education field. Dr. Gemar began their career in 2005 as the Principal of Newark Public Schools. In 2015, they joined The Future Project as their Chief Education Officer. Dr. Gemar has since moved on to become the Chief Academic Officer of College Achieve Public Schools, a position they have held since 2017.

Dr. Gemar Mills completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at Seton Hall University from 2013 to 2017. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from Montclair State University from 2000 to 2004.
