Steven Dickens has a diverse work experience. Steven is currently serving as the Vice President and Practice Leader at The Futurum Group, responsible for the Hybrid Cloud, Infrastructure, and Operations software practice. Steven is also a Member of the Board of Advisors at Tech Week Humber, a global technology festival. Previously, they held roles such as Podcast Host and Chair of the Marketing Committee for The Open Mainframe Project. Steven is the Co-Founder of Hamilton4 Media, a company that builds the social eminence of senior executives. Additionally, they host a weekly podcast called Fat Tailed Thoughts, focusing on finance, money, and cryptocurrencies. Steven has also worked as the Vice President of Growth and Business Development, Senior Analyst, and WW Sales Leader at Futurum Research + Analysis and held various roles at IBM and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Steven Dickens obtained a BSc in Business Administration from Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd, from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they attended Hagley RC High School and obtained multiple subjects including Maths, English, and Business Studies between 1986 and 1992. Steven also holds additional certifications such as the IBM Z Federated Advocate Super Hero and Business and Industry Insight, obtained in 2021 and 2014 respectively. Steven also completed Offering Management Fundamentals certification in 2014.
