Daniel Márquez Quintanilla is a seasoned game development professional with extensive experience in programming and software design. Currently serving as the Lead Programmer at The Game Kitchen since August 2010, Daniel specializes in gameplay programming, AI, and the development of visual scripting tools and pathfinding systems across various platforms. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at Nivel 21 from October 2008 to August 2010, where foundational skills in game development were acquired. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Universidad de Sevilla, completed in 2013 and 2010, respectively.

The Game Kitchen is an indie video game studio based in Sevilla and Tenerife, Spain. “We make meaningful indie games” The Game Kitchen is the developer of the acclaimed terror point-and-click adventure The Last Door (2013) and well known for the best-selling indie game Blasphemous (2019) and Blasphemous II (2023). Currently working on several undisclosed projects, the studio also has a VR department funded in early 2022 that’s been working on All On Board!, a VR platform powered by user-generated content where players will be able to create, share and play board games with friends.
