John Malizia, P.G. has a diverse work experience and has held various roles in different companies. John began their career as a Summer Intern at Moody and Associates, Inc. in 2013. John then served as a Military Policeman in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 2008 to 2014, receiving commendations for their exceptional performance.

Following that, Malizia worked as a Teaching Assistant at Kent State University from 2014 to 2015, where they assisted professors in educating students and evaluated student laboratory work.

In 2015, they joined MENARD Group USA as a Field Engineer before being promoted to the role of Project Engineer in 2016. In 2018, they took on the position of Regional Sales Engineer, where they conducted surveys, field inspections, and site evaluations for project feasibility, as well as reviewed and submitted bids for ground improvement projects.

In 2018, Malizia joined Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. as a Staff Consultant. John performed geohazard assessments for landslide mitigation and monitoring on pipelines, conducted geotechnical subsurface investigations, and provided construction materials testing services and quality assurance.

Currently, Malizia is working at Gateway Engineers as both a Professional Geologist and a Project Manager. In their role as a Professional Geologist, they are responsible for geotechnical investigations and other geological aspects of projects. As a Project Manager, they oversee projects and ensures their successful completion.

Throughout their career, John Malizia, P.G. has gained extensive experience in project management, geotechnical engineering, and geological assessments. John'swork has consistently demonstrated their commitment to excellence and their ability to effectively manage and deliver successful projects.

John Malizia, P.G. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS.) degree in Environmental Science-Geology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in the years 2007 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Geology from Kent State University from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they hold a certification in OSHA 40 Hazwopper.
