Jerome May

Jerome May has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Jerome is currently working as a Platform Cyber Technical Lead at The GBS Group, where they lead the development and implementation of cybersecurity programs for U.S. Navy systems. Prior to this, they worked at KBR Careers - Gov Solutions as a Sr. Technical Professional. Jerome also has experience as an Automation Engineer at Georgia-Pacific LLC and Kalmar Global USA, where they specialized in port automation and software systems. Jerome also served as a Naval Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve and U.S. Navy, where they were involved in operational planning and training. Jerome started their career at Boeing as a Systems Engineer/Scientist, where they worked on network development and simulation.

Jerome May has a Bachelor's degree in General Science from the United States Naval Academy, which they obtained in 1991. Jerome later received a Master's degree in Computer Information Technology from American InterContinental University in 2003. In 2007, they earned a Non-Degree Certificate in Systems Engineering from UC Irvine. Jerome pursued further education at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, where they achieved a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance in 2013. Jerome also obtained a Non-Degree Certification in Wireless Technology from the same institution in 2014. Additionally, Jerome has obtained various certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Scrum Fundamentals Certified, and Scrum Master Certified in 2017. Moreover, Jerome completed the Maritime Staff Operator's Course (MSOC) at the U.S. Naval War College in 2012.
