Neha Kuvelkar has worked in the healthcare domain since 2015. In 2015, they were a BCIL Trainee at Aurigene Discovery Technologies, where they worked on an Onco-Immunology project. In 2016, they were a Project Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where they interacted with medical doctors across varied specializations in an attempt to resolve healthcare issues faced by them. Since 2020, they have been working at The Gene Box, first as a Manager of Partnerships and Alliances, where they look for potential collaborators and opportunities and is in charge of onboarding and client engagement, and then as a Market Outreach Specialist, where they capitalize on their communication and creative skills to interact with clients and potential collaborators and introduce them to the scope of genomics.
Neha Kuvelkar has a background in science. Neha completed their High School Diploma at Mushtifund Higher Secondary School in 2009. Neha then went on to earn their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biotechnology, Genetics, and Biochemistry from Garden City University in 2013. Following this, they earned their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology from The Oxford College of Science in 2015. Prior to this, they attended Sharada Mandir School from 2001 to 2007.
