Abdullahi Umar is an experienced professional with a diverse background in health systems management and data management. Currently serving as The TGLF Alumni Ambassador at The Geneva Learning Foundation and as a Data Manager at the African Field Epidemiology Network, Abdullahi has a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and the design of data collection instruments. Previous roles include Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator for the Health Resilience of Northeast (HeRoN) Project at the Society for Family Health Nigeria, DHIS2 Implementation Officer at AFENET, and Local Government Area Facilitator for the World Health Organization's Polio Eradication Initiative. Abdullahi's academic credentials include ongoing PhD studies in Health Systems Management at the University of Port Harcourt, a Master's in Information Management from Ahmadu Bello University, and a Master of Science in Public Health from Maryam Abacha American University. Abdullahi's extensive training also encompasses various diplomas and degrees in community health and management information technology.
