Kristen Burnett

Kristen Burnett has over 20 years of experience in various sales and account management roles. Kristen is currently serving as an Area Director of Sales for THE GENUINE HOSPITALITY GROUP, LLC. Prior to this, Kristen held positions such as Dual Property Director of Sales for Marriott Hotels, Senior Account Manager for Lincolnshire Marriott Resort and Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group, Corporate Sales Manager for Marriott Hotels, and Senior Sales Manager for Marriott Hotels. Kristen also worked as a Director of Corporate Sales for The Stonegate Conference and Dual Property Corporate Catering Sales Manager for Radisson Hotel Arlington Heights and Schaumburg. Kristen's earlier experience includes being an Event Sales Manager for Jillian's Entertainment. Kristen excelled in managing and building club revenue through sales of corporate and social events.

Kristen Burnett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant Travel Administration from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale between 1991 and 1995. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate in Science degree in Travel and Tourism from Northern Virginia Community College between 1988 and 1991. Additionally, Kristen has completed the Walt Disney World College Program in Hotel Restaurant Management in 1990-1991. Kristen also holds a TIPS Certification from Health Communications, Inc. obtained in January 2017, and is a Meetings Imagined Certified from Marriott International.
