Kim Powell

Kim Powell has extensive experience in both optometry and leadership roles within The Gideons International. As an International Chaplain since October 2020 and a Zone 7 Trustee from July 2013 to July 2019, Kim Powell has contributed significantly to the organization's mission. Kim Powell served as President of Powell Vision Clinic, Inc. from January 1981 to January 2019, while also holding the position of Adjunct Professor at The Ohio State University College of Optometry from June 1976 to January 2019. Kim Powell earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University from 1972 to 1976 and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Science from Hiram College from 1968 to 1972.
