Zoya Haq is the CEO and Co-Founder of HiStory Retold, where oversight of operations, outreach, and development occurs for this national, student-led initiative. Serving as a Young Changemaker with Ashoka, Zoya actively participates in launching social initiatives and engaging peers in community solutions. As the founder of The Tahira Project, Zoya has successfully raised over $20,000 for children's education through book sales and donations. Additional roles include advisory positions with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, a fellowship with Asian Texans for Justice, and engagements in campaign politics through various organizations. Currently studying at Yale University, Zoya has a strong foundation in civic engagement and community service, underpinned by experiences ranging from political campaigns to educational outreach and mentorship in security studies.
