Sam Mason

Sam Mason has a extensive work experience in the field of technology and web development. They are currently serving as the Director of Technology at The GIST since October 2022. Prior to this role, Sam worked as a Senior Manager, Technology at Appnovation from June 2021 to October 2022.

Sam has also had a long tenure working as a Web Developer and Designer at their own company, Sam Mason, from January 2006 to September 2022.

Earlier in their career, Sam worked at ICF Next in various roles, including Manager, Experience Technology from March 2021 to May 2021, Associate Manager, Experience Technology from March 2020 to March 2021, Senior Front End Developer from March 2018 to March 2020, and Front End Developer from October 2015 to March 2018.

Prior to joining ICF Next, Sam worked as a Front End Developer at Soft Gravity Inc. from November 2013 to September 2015.

They also have experience as a Web Developer at Conceptual Pathways Inc. from March 2009 to September 2012, and as a Technical Support Specialist at D2L from May 2010 to August 2010.

Sam Mason attended the University of Waterloo from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a specialization in Honours Computer Science with a Business Option. In addition to their degree, Sam also earned a Theme Development Certification from Shopify in December 2019.
