David Christopher Johnson

David Christopher Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. David Christopher is currently serving as the General Counsel and Strategic Advisor at The Giving Block since May 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded BlockShop DC in March 2018. David Christopher also held a position as Counsel at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP from October 2012 to May 2022. In 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Michigan Law School Directors' College for Global Business & Law, where they were responsible for delivering presentations, conducting research, and organizing logistics. David Christopher also worked as a Summer Associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP during May 2011 to July 2011. Additionally, they gained experience as a Summer Legal Associate at Landesa (formerly Rural Development Institute) in China during May 2010 to July 2010. Prior to these roles, David Johnson owned and managed DCJ Management from August 2002 to May 2010 and HMI Worldwide from January 2004 to June 2009. David Christopher began their career as an Intern at the Office of Congressman Hoekstra in May 2004.

David Christopher Johnson attended Grand Valley State University from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with magna cum laude honors. David Christopher then attended the University of Michigan Law School from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree with cum laude honors, specializing in Law.
