Head Of Design at The Giving Movement

Khairunisa Suhail has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Khairunisa started their career as an Assistant Designer for Ladies & Menswear at George @ Asda in 2012. During this role, they were responsible for designing 13 collections within a tight deadline and managing a seasonal budget. Khairunisa also had full ownership of the ladies slipper collection and traveled to the USA with senior management to source activewear brands.

In 2014, Khairunisa moved to the role of Junior Designer for Girlswear at George @ Asda. Here, they were responsible for designing 50% of the collection, specializing in jersey and denim. Khairunisa worked closely with suppliers in Bangladesh and India and provided mentorship to assistants.

Khairunisa then transitioned to the role of Assistant Designer for Ladies Intimate Apparel at George @ Asda in 2014. Khairunisa held this position until 2015, where they worked on designing and developing intimate apparel collections.

In 2016, Khairunisa joined H&M as a Senior Fashion Designer. Khairunisa was responsible for designing girlswear collections with an annual category value of £110,000,000. Khairunisa led the girlswear design vision for the global fashion retailer with over 4,500 stores in 66 markets. Khairunisa also planned seasonal design strategies to drive sales growth and led inspirational and development trips across Europe and the Far East.

Most recently, Khairunisa served as the Design Manager and later the Head of Design at The Giving Movement, starting in 2020. Details about their specific responsibilities and accomplishments in these roles are not provided.
