Erich Hellmold

Erich Hellmold is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and financial services law. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at The Gladstone Companies since August 2017, Erich also held the position of Assistant General Counsel. Prior to this role, Erich was Of Counsel at Squire Patton Boggs, focusing on advising financial institutions on corporate and securities transactions. Erich has further experience as a Corporate and Financial Services Attorney at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, where responsibilities included evaluating financial institutions' participation in the Treasury's TARP Capital Purchase Program. Earlier positions include Associate roles at Fleischman and Harding LLP and Muldoon Murphy & Aguggia LLP, where involvement ranged from drafting complex agreements to advising on securities matters. Erich began the legal career as a Corporate Governance Analyst at Moody's Investors Service Inc. and as a Summer Associate at Oppenheimer and Company. Erich holds a JD from New York Law School and a BA in Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University.
