Elias Gabriel

Co-Founder & CTO at The Glass Files

Elias Gabriel has held a variety of positions in the technology and education sectors over the past five years. In 2016, they were a Software Intern at Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia, where they co-invented a new information retention feature. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Riverdale Country School as a Technology and Media Consultant and Summer Camp Counselor. In 2017, they were also Co-Founder & CTO at The Glass Files, an ed-tech platform, and a Software Engineer. In 2018, they were Director of Technology at MetaBronx, where they coordinated infrastructure, server, and software management. From 2019 to 2021, they were Special Projects Coordinator at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, and a Head Lifeguard at COPOCO Pool & Tennis Club. In 2021, they were a Backend Engineer Intern at Indico Data.

Elias Gabriel attended Riverdale Country School from 2004 to 2017, where they obtained their High School Diploma. In 2018, they began a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with Computing & Concentration in Food and Environmental Sustainability at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In May 2019, they obtained a Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross. Elias is also planning to attend The Umbra Institute in 2022 to pursue a field of study in Food Studies and Sustainability.
