Karen McIntosh

Karen McIntosh is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in managing PR and corporate communications for esteemed organizations. Currently serving as Head of Communications at Gleneagles since January 2016, Karen has successfully developed a comprehensive communications strategy to elevate the brand amidst a major investment initiative. Prior experience includes roles as PR & Communications Officer at the University of Stirling, where Karen enhanced the institution's reputation through impactful media campaigns, and positions at York St John University, Edinburgh International Book Festival, and the International Centre for Life, contributing to marketing and visibility efforts. Karen holds a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature and a Master's degree in Modern and Contemporary Literature from Newcastle University.
