Jake Maymar

Jake Maymar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jake currently holds the position of VP, Innovation (VR, AR, XR, MR) at The Glimpse Group since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as Director, Quality Assurance (VR, AR, XR, MR) from January 2019 to December 2021 and as a Virtual Reality Producer from June 2018 to January 2019 at the same company.

Before joining The Glimpse Group, Jake worked at Strategy Studio as a Digital Director from March 2011 to June 2018. Prior to that, they held the role of Digital Director, Consultant at Various from November 2002 to March 2011.

Earlier in their career, Jake co-founded Naka Media, Inc. and served as the Business Development Director from May 2006 to January 2009. Jake also worked as a Senior Interactive Designer at frog design from November 1999 to November 2002.

Jake Maymar attended Texas State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Visual Communications.
