Damola Omole, PhD, is an experienced professional in the energy sector with a focus on utility innovation and power strategy. Currently working for The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet since March 2023, Damola has previously held significant roles at Dangote Industries Limited, McKinsey & Company, and the Lagos State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. With a solid foundation in electrical engineering, Damola's expertise encompasses management consultancy for clean energy and smart grid implementation, project management in renewable energy, and hands-on research in power systems and smart technologies. Academic qualifications include a BSc and MSc from Florida State University, as well as a PhD from the University of South Florida.
