The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
Annelise Hirschmann has extensive experience in leadership roles within public health and international development. Currently serving as the Interim Chief Human Resources Officer at The Global Fund since February 2015, Annelise manages a department with over 90 staff across Asia, Europe, and Latin America and the Caribbean, overseeing a significant grant budget exceeding one billion for the 2023-2025 cycle. Previously, as the Regional Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, Annelise focused on malaria, TB, and HIV initiatives, managing a budget of over 150 million annually. Annelise's prior roles include Deputy Director for Proyecto PASCA at Futures Group International, Director of the National AIDS Program for the Government of Guatemala, and Director at Asociacion de Salud Integral, contributing to the development and implementation of critical health programs. Annelise earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Public Health from the University of Florida.
