Claire Dugan

Claire Dugan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and management across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Standards at the Global Reporting Initiative since October 2022, Claire leads the Sector Standard project for financial services, covering banking, insurance, and capital markets. Previously, as Deputy Executive Director at Skateistan from February 2012 to August 2022, Claire spearheaded global strategic planning, coordinated operations across multiple countries, and advanced diversity and inclusion initiatives while overseeing numerous organizational functions. Claire's tenure also included serving as Acting Executive Director, managing fundraising and communications, and as Finance Director, where significant financial compliance measures were established. Early career experience as an Accountant at Crowe Horwath New Zealand involved delivering business advisory services and ensuring financial compliance for clients.
