Wasamon Nutakul, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of food science and alternative proteins, currently serving as the Science and Technology Manager at The Good Food Institute APAC since February 2023, while also functioning as a SciTech Specialist for the organization since September 2021. With prior experience as a Researcher and Food Engineering Practice Site Director at King’s Mongkut University Technology Thonburi, and a Research Scientist at Glanbia Nutritionals, Wasamon has contributed significantly to plant-based ingredient product development and has fostered industry collaborations. Research experiences span esteemed organizations, including Abbott Laboratories and The Coca-Cola Company, where responsibilities have included formulation development, technical support, and emerging technologies research. An academic background includes a PhD in Food Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Chulalongkorn University.
