Karen Dyberg

Karen Dyberg currently serves as the Chair of the Board and a Board Member at the Facility Association since February 2016. Additionally, Karen is the Chair of the Data Governance Committee at the Good Samaritan Society and has held various leadership roles in the insurance industry, including Chief Executive Officer of Dyberg Insurance Group Inc. from 1983 to May 2024, and Director at Excel Insurance Group Inc. from 2014 to 2023. With prior experience as Membership Chair of Edmonton CREW and Director positions at the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada and the Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta, including serving as Past President and Chairman of the Board, Karen has a strong background in leadership and governance within the insurance sector. Karen earned a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics from the University of Alberta from 1978 to 1981.
