Joseph Lyons

Joseph Lyons is an accomplished development professional with extensive experience in public policy, government relations, and fundraising. Currently serving as the Development Officer at The Gooden Center, Joseph is responsible for crafting grant proposals and building relationships with funders. Prior to this role, Joseph founded JL Consulting, LLC, offering expertise in public affairs and political strategy. Previous positions include Development Director at The California Museum, where fundraising strategies were implemented, and various roles in government, including Principal Consultant for the Assembly Committee on Utilities and Commerce and Legislative Aide to Assemblywoman Diane Martinez. Joseph holds a degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
