Sara Marcucci

Research Fellow at The Governance Lab

Sara Marcucci is a Digital Policy Executive at Privacy Network and a Responsible Data Governance Consultant for The World Bank Group, focusing on data stewardship for social and environmental impact in Majority World countries. As a Research Fellow at The Governance Lab, Sara investigates the intersections between public participation, governance, and digital technology. Previously, Sara led a research project at the Open Data Institute, contributed to media analysis on Covid-19 at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and worked as a Project and Research Assistant at Nesta. Sara co-founded The Global Observer and has interned in communications and research roles. Education includes a Master of Science in Media and Communications from LSE and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Governance from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
