Marcus Mangan

Marcus Mangan currently serves as a Desk Officer in the Department of UN Policy, Conflict and Migration at Regeringskansliet, Utrikesdepartementet, a position held since August 2023. Since August 2022, Marcus has also been a Second Secretary in the Department of Foreign and Security Policy, Trade at Sveriges EU-representation. Prior experience includes serving as a Desk Officer in the Americas Department focusing on US trade relations at Regeringskansliet from October 2019 to August 2022, and in the Department of Foreign and Security Policy, Trade at the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the EU from June 2018 to October 2019. Marcus completed a Blue Book traineeship in the Cabinet of EU Commissioner for Trade at the European Commission from October 2016 to March 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Legal and Political Theory from UCL and a Bachelor's Degree in Law from King's College London, alongside a high school diploma in Languages and Social Sciences from the European School of Brussels II.
