Ian Bruce

Ian Bruce is currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Penn State University, engaged in research activities since May 2023. Ian also serves as a Laboratory Technician at Everlast Roofing, Inc., where responsibilities include daily collection, processing, and testing of coil samples, along with logging data using LIMS. Additionally, Ian works as a Grader for The Graide Network, assessing essays from students in grades 1-12 while adhering to standardized scoring guidelines since March 2021. Previously, Ian contributed to Phoenix Contact USA as a Manufacturer for a summer, assembling computer parts with a focus on precision and adherence to assembly drawings. Ian is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering at Penn State University, with an expected graduation in 2024.
