Denise Baril

Denise Baril is an experienced professional with a diverse background in grants, business consulting, and training. Currently serving as a Grants for Canadian Businesses specialist at The Grant Sherpa since January 2019, Denise focuses on enabling Canadian businesses in sectors like clean tech and digital innovation to secure funding. Denise also has extensive experience providing grant planning and training for businesses in Alberta through WSN Grants for Business. The workplace expertise is further enhanced by roles in the Workplace Speaker Network, where Denise teaches extreme networking, and participation as a board advisor for the IoT Centre of Excellence in Alberta. Previous roles include consulting for various organizations, distributing video communication tools, and working with healthcare access services. Denise holds a BA in French/Psychology and a BSW in Social Work from the University of Manitoba and the University of Calgary, respectively.
