Joshua Newberry

Joshua Newberry is an Associate Design Engineer at The Greenbrier Companies since February 2022. Prior to this role, Joshua worked as a Package Handler for UPS from January 2021 to January 2022, gaining experience in package management and teamwork. Additional experience includes a position as a Counter Worker at Capers Café et Le Bar from May 2018 to January 2020, where Joshua handled customer orders and operated cash registers in a fast-paced environment. Joshua also worked as a Warehouse Employee at United Salad Co. in the summer of 2018, fulfilling orders and utilizing heavy machinery while maintaining safety protocols. Joshua holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energy and Design and Manufacturing from Washington State University Vancouver, completed in May 2021.
