Kari Wagner has an extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Kari is currently serving as the VP Commercial Strategy in The Greenbrier Companies since 2021. Before that, they worked at BIOTRONIK from 2012 to 2021, where they held the position of Director, Corporate Strategy & Business Development. Kari was promoted to this role from the Sr. Strategic Marketing & New Product Planning position and was responsible for presenting business cases and financial analysis to executive leadership.

In 2018, Kari Wagner was an Advisory Board Member at The Bay Club Company until 2020. Prior to that, they worked at HemCon Medical Technologies, Inc. from 2007 to 2012. Kari started as the Director of Marketing and Product Management and was later promoted to the role of VP Corporate Strategy and Business Development. From 2005 to 2007, Kari Wagner served as the Business Unit Manager at PECO, an Astronics company. Kari achieved a 25% increase in product margins through a new price and contracting strategy, as well as a 45% sales revenue increase by creating an independent sales representative network.

Earlier in their career, Kari Wagner worked at Baxter International Inc. from 2000 to 2001 as a Territory Business Manager in the BioSurgery Division. Kari introduced surgical fibrin sealant products into the U.S. market and developed strong relationships with physicians and surgical disciplines to drive product adoption. Before that, they were a Technical Sales Manager at Johnson & Johnson from 1998 to 2000, where they focused on bone fixation and reconstructive biomaterials. Kari also worked as a Territory Business Manager at Brady Corporation from 1995 to 1998.

Kari Wagner completed their education history with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business and International Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
