Oscar Carlson

Oscar Carlson is a seasoned quality assurance professional with extensive experience in the rail and marine industries. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Oscar Carlson Consulting since May 2023, Oscar has been with The Greenbrier Companies since July 1994, progressing through several key roles including Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Assurance Supervisor. In these positions, Oscar has managed compliance with AAR and ABS standards, implemented quality assurance specifications, and directed employee performance within the Quality Assurance department. Oscar's earlier experience includes a role as a Quality Assurance Inspector and as a Welder/Fitter at United Mechanical. Educational qualifications include an advanced auditor training and certification as a welding inspector from AAR, along with a certification in protective coatings from SSPC.
