Zach Watkins

Zach Watkins is a Marine Designer at Elliott Bay Design Group since April 2024, previously serving as a Marine Design Engineer at Gunderson Ironworks from August 2018 to April 2024, where responsibilities included providing engineering analysis and support for steel barge construction and utilizing 3D CAD for modeling. Prior experience includes a role as an Associate Mechanical Engineer at R&W Engineering, focusing on energy analysis and improvement recommendations for buildings, and participation in a full-stack software engineering course at Thinkful, where skills in various programming languages and technologies were developed. Zach holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Portland Community College.
