Klaas de Jager

Klaas de Jager is an experienced professional in the agriculture sector, currently serving as the Innovation Manager for Softfruits at The Greenery since January 2006, where responsibilities include testing and introducing new varieties, developing growing methods, and implementing harvest and quality monitoring systems. Prior to this role, Klaas worked at DLV Plant from October 1991 to December 2005 as a specialist in strawberry culture, focusing on glasshouse strawberry production and the development of monitoring systems. Earlier experience includes a position at NMI from September 1989 to October 1991, where Klaas provided information and managed financial aspects of research projects related to fertilization in dairy farming and arable agriculture. Educational credentials include studies at HAS Green Academy from 1983 to 1987 and VWO at Jan Arentsz in Alkmaar from 1977 to 1983.
