Niels Zuurbier

Niels Zuurbier has extensive experience in the agricultural sector, currently serving as the Voorzitter of the raad van commissarisen and the Voorzitter of PUC Vollegrondsgroenten at The Greenery since March 2005, where strategic direction and policies are developed in collaboration with management. Niels is also the owner of UZ Vegetables BV, a company established in 2002 that cultivates 275 hectares of vegetables in partnership with Dolf Ursem. Additional roles include serving as a member of various committees such as the Sectorcommissie NAK Tuinbouw at Naktuinbouw and the Teelt Technische Werkgroep at SMK, as well as engaging in leadership at LTO Nederland and LTO Noord, focusing on the interests of Dutch vegetable growers. Niels' educational qualifications include a Governance Institute degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a BSc in Agricultural Business from HAS Green Academy.
