Niels Zuurbier

Niels Zuurbier has extensive experience in the agricultural sector, particularly in vegetable production and governance. As the Owner of UZ Vegetables BV since 2002, Niels oversees a vegetable growing operation spanning 275 hectares. Niels served as Voorzitter raad van commissarisen at The Greenery from March 2005 to May 2022 and held various leadership roles, including Voorzitter PUC Vollegrondsgroenten and Voorzitter PAC Sluitkool, where strategic policy and market advice were crucial. Additionally, Niels contributed to Naktuinbouw and SMK as a member of relevant committees while leading the Vollegrondsgroenten sector group at LTO Nederland. Niels holds a BSc in Agricultural Business from HAS Green Academy and a certification from Erasmus University Rotterdam's Governance Institute.
