The Greens/EFA in the European Parliament
Carys Lawrie possesses a strong background in political advising and communications within the European Parliament and related organizations. Currently working at The Greens/EFA Secretariat since July 2020, Carys previously served as Head of Office and Political Advisor to Scott Ainslie MEP, where responsibilities included engaging with South Asian governments and civil society, and drafting various parliamentary texts. Earlier roles include a Schuman Traineeship in the European Parliament's Scientific Foresight Unit, as well as a Communications Assistant position at Friends of Europe, overseeing publications and editing articles. Carys holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Development from the University of St Andrews and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.
