Simon Mckeagney

Team Leader - Communications Strategy at The Greens/EFA in the European Parliament

Simon McKeagney is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Head of Communications at The Greens/EFA in the European Parliament since February 2014, also holding roles as Web Editor and Campaign Manager. Simon co-founded BLOCK T and contributed as a Non-Executive Board Member from June 2010 to April 2019, focusing on policy development and team facilitation. Previous roles include Communications & Media Assistant at the European Climate Foundation, trainee at the Communications DG of the European Parliament, and Creative Director for organizations such as Stand Up For Children and Get On Board for Youth Mental Health. Simon earned a BA Honors in Media Fine Art from The National College of Art and Design, complemented by a solid educational foundation from St. Michael's College in Dublin.
