Melissa Jones is a seasoned leader in program delivery and educational development with extensive experience in both nonprofit and corporate sectors. As the Senior Director of Program Delivery at Break Through Tech, Melissa spearheads nationwide initiatives to enhance work-integrated learning for underrepresented groups in technology. Previous roles include Senior Director of Technical Programs at Shopify, where Melissa enhanced the employee experience for over 4,000 R&D staff, and Head of Learning at General Assembly, contributing to the company's successful acquisition by refining global learning strategies. Melissa's career also includes foundational contributions as a Founding Teacher Leader at New York Harbor School, and various roles across teaching and curriculum development in organizations such as Teach For America and Adobe. Melissa holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan, an Ms Ed from Pace University, and an MLS from Pratt Institute.
