Thomas Corcoran is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment management and risk advisory roles. Currently serving as a Trustee and Senior member of the Investment Committee at Providence College since June 2012, Thomas has played a pivotal role in overseeing the College’s approximately $300 million investment portfolio. As Trustee Emeritus at The Guild for Human Services, Thomas supports a vital organization providing services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. From August 2004 to September 2016, Thomas served as a Senior Managing Director at GE, where responsibilities included presenting innovative business opportunities and leading teams in interest rate hedging. Prior to GE, as Managing Director at Fleet Boston Financial from 1981 to 2004, Thomas led a significant hedging business that generated $250 million in annual revenue and provided crucial risk management support to over 3,000 bank clients. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Providence College.
