Lydia E Obaye ACG is an experienced governance professional, currently serving as the Head of Governance at The Guinness Partnership since May 2025. Prior roles include Assistant Company Secretary at Canary Wharf Group and the M&C Saatchi Group, as well as Platform Company Secretary at The Ardonagh Group. Lydia also held positions at Hamilton and Wells Fargo, where responsibilities included serving as Committee Secretary and Assistant Company Secretary. Lydia's career began at HSBC as an Assistant Company Secretary and included a tenure at the Financial Conduct Authority as an Associate in Executive Committees. Lydia holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Brunel University of London and a Master's degree in Corporate Governance with Grad ICSA from London South Bank University.
