Andrew Pickles is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in tax and treasury management. Currently serving as Senior Finance Manager at The Gym Group since July 2021, Andrew has achieved significant milestones, including recovering £1 million in corporation tax and setting up a comprehensive cash flow model. Prior roles include Group Tax & Treasury Manager at McCarthy & Stone, where Andrew successfully reduced significant debtors during the lockdown, and Head of Finance for a Southampton-based company, overseeing key financial operations. Andrew has also held various positions in notable organizations, such as interim finance manager at Wiggle and tax roles at BNP Paribas and Deloitte. Andrew began a finance career in tax with Fitness First and has taught ACCA papers internationally, reflecting a commitment to professional development and knowledge sharing.
