Monika Aktar

Monika Aktar is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the Human Resources Manager at The HALO Trust since March 2025. Prior to this role, Monika worked at the International Rescue Committee from October 2020 to March 2025, where responsibilities included Senior Human Resources Manager for Employee Relations and Talent Development, Acting HR Lead, and HR Manager specializing in Employee Relations and Training & Development. Monika's earlier experience includes serving as a Strategic HR Partner at BRAC IT and various human resources roles at JITA Bangladesh from March 2015 to March 2020. Monika holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Southeast University, a Post Graduation Diploma in Human Resources Management from United International University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from National University, alongside additional business management education from the University of Dhaka.
