Dick Lavey

Dick Lavey currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, President Agency Markets at The Hanover Insurance Group, overseeing the Personal Lines, Small Commercial, and Middle Market businesses since October 2014. Prior roles at The Hanover Insurance Group include Executive Vice President, Chief Growth Innovation Officer, and President of Personal Lines and Chief Marketing Officer, with an extensive tenure that began in January 2006. Earlier experience includes positions at The Hartford Insurance as VP of Strategic Marketing from 2001 to 2003 and various roles at The Hanover Insurance Group from 2005 to 2006, culminating in VP of Strategic Operations. Dick Lavey holds an MBA in General Management from Harvard Business School and an A.B. in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross.
