Harris E. Berenson

Harris E. Berenson serves as Vice President & Corporate Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel at The Hanover Insurance Group, providing legal and regulatory leadership for Personal, Commercial, and Specialty Lines of insurance since November 2012. With extensive experience in the insurance industry, Berenson has previously held positions at Liberty Mutual Insurance, including Chief Legal Counsel for the Commercial Property Division, and at FM Global, where responsibilities included managing complex legal matters and providing strategic legal counsel. Berenson's career also features roles in academia as an adjunct faculty member at Quincy College and positions in litigation and corporate law, including work as a judicial clerk. Berenson holds a BA in Economics and Statistics from Boston University and a Juris Doctor cum laude from New England Law | Boston.
