Jim Kawiecki

Jim Kawiecki is a seasoned insurance executive currently serving as President at The Hanover Insurance Group since April 2016, where responsibilities include managing the Contract and Commercial Surety business and fostering cross-functional relationships with key departments. Prior to this role, Jim served as Head of Contract Surety, overseeing the national business line and setting its strategic direction. With a solid foundation in underwriting, Jim worked as a Regional Underwriting Officer at Travelers from January 1988 to April 2016. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut, obtained between 1983 and 1987.
