Kate Williams

Kate Williams is an accomplished insurance professional currently serving as President of E&S at The Hanover Insurance Group, a position held since November 2022. Prior experience includes over a decade at Markel, where roles spanned from Managing Director, Product Line Leader for Commercial Primary Casualty Wholesale to various senior leadership positions in casualty underwriting and production. Earlier career experiences include underwriting roles at James River Insurance Company, Chas. Lunsford Sons & Assoc., and Colony Insurance Company. Kate Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Virginia, attained in 1999.
