Roma Varma has had a varied career since 2009. Roma started their career as a Work Experience at Boutique Chelsa in 2009 and then moved onto a Receptionist role at Ailsa Craig Hotel. In 2010, they volunteered at Fashion Fringe, London Fashion Week and then in 2011 they worked as Work Experience at Harrods. In 2012, they took on the role of Product Life Cycle Marketing Professional at HP, followed by a Sales Assistant role at Lloyd's Pharmacy in 2014. In 2015, they became a Property Consultant at MyLondonHome and then in 2016 they took on the role of Head of Platform, Client Management at The Happiness Index, followed by Senior Customer Success Manager and Senior Account Manager roles. In their roles, they have had the opportunity to manage staff, create a company wide CSR programme and implement processes to ensure value is added to clients, as well as negotiating and persuading vendors and applicants to make price reductions.
Roma Varma has a diverse educational background. Roma started their education in 1996 at Ashton House School and continued until 2003. From 2003 to 2006, they attended St. Davids School. Roma then moved on to Licensed Victuallers School from 2006 to 2010. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management (specialised in Marketing) from the University of Brighton between 2010 and 2014. Additionally, they have obtained a Mental Health Awareness certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in 2021, and is currently working towards a Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.
